Senthil was born in India  and completed  his Medical school and surgical training in India . He then moved to England and undertook his higher surgical training and specialist training in Vascular surgery from Mersey region (Liverpool). During his training he did research in the field of Varicose veins and Vascular access in dialysis patients. Senthil spent twelve months at John Hunter Hospital  undertaking endovascular fellowship at the end of which he was appointed as a consultant at John Hunter Hospital .Senthil has been a consultant vascular and Endovascular surgeon in Australia close to a decade and has high volume surgical experience. His family emigrated to Newcastle in 2013.

Senthil loves spending time with his wife and two energetic children. In his reflective moments he enjoys cooking, Cricket , following Liverpool FC and walking
